Brian Willsey’s Biography

Brian’s passion for connecting and collaborating with business owners is clear: he describes his work as the perfect balance of professional engagement and personal pleasure — something he always seeks.

Brian hails from a long line of Indianapolis entrepreneurs and small business owners. An entrepreneur since 2014, he co-founded and helped launch Hotel Tango Distillery–one of Indy’s first craft distilleries since Prohibition. His entrepreneurial journey continued in 2017 when he co-founded and launched Tinker House Events which is one of Indy’s premier wedding venues. In 2024, he acquired Provider Café, a top local coffee shop. Additionally, he is active in residential real estate rentals and development; starting and operating a side venture from 2019 to 2025. Today Brian’s main focus is on business brokerage.

Brian completed his undergraduate degree in Communications and Business at Indiana University Bloomington. After several years in sales and banking, he earned his MBA from the University of Indianapolis. Leveraging this expertise, along with his passion for real estate, he spent 2012-2014 at City Real Estate Advisors, a LIHTC Syndicator, as an underwriting analyst before leaving corporate life and launching his first business.

Committed to his community, Brian is a Rotarian, since 2012, and an ambassador with the Indy Chamber of Commerce since 2019. In 2023, he was named in IBJ’s Forty Under 40. In 2024, he was elected as a Trustee to the Chamber Benefit Arrangement of Indiana Trust which governs a multi-employer welfare arrangement (MEWA) health plan.

When not working or engaged in the community, Brian oversees a personal portfolio of rental homes. He also enjoys spending time working on his own home, yard, and garden with his young family. His wife, Nabeela, is a trial attorney with Plews Shadley Racher & Braun. They have two sons aged 4 and 2.
