Sam Custard’s Biography

Sam Custard is an M&A Associate with Indiana Business Advisors, supporting brokers across the full transaction lifecycle. His work includes buy-side support, CRM management, due diligence coordination, valuations, market research, and outbound outreach, with additional involvement in select marketing initiatives.

He is drawn to M&A because every deal is different. He enjoys being client-facing, building relationships through thoughtful conversations, and helping business owners understand and maximize the value of what they have built in pursuit of their long term goals. He also brings a strong learning mindset to his work and is continually expanding his knowledge across
industries, deal structures, and transaction best practices.

He graduated from Butler University in May 2025 with a double major in Entrepreneurship and Innovation and Marketing. During college, he studied abroad in London for three months, an experience that broadened his perspective and strengthened his interest in business and growth. After completing an eight-month internship with Indiana Business Advisors, he joined the firm full-time.

Originally from Colorado, he moved to Indianapolis for school and has remained to build his career with the Indiana Business Advisors team. At Butler, he was a member of Sigma Chi and served as Head of Conduct for the Interfraternity Council.

Outside of work, he enjoys fly fishing, snowboarding, spending time outdoors, and attending live music events.
